We have known Robert for nearly two decades and he has done four renovations for us over that period.
He first totally renovated our main bathroom, he installed hardwood flooring throughout our main floor, finished and trimmed a new set of stairs that required replacement and just this summer undertook an addition that increased our living space dramatically.
A major hobby of mine is furniture making/building and hence I have an extra appreciation for quality craftsmanship. I am very pleased with every job that we have employed Robert to complete, the finished product exceeds our expectations.
My first exposure to Robert’s building expertise came about while visiting the home of a co-worker. Robert had completely updated their basement, including foundation work and a full washroom. I was impressed with the level of workmanship and the tasteful design that was apparent in that large family room/utility space.
We have had Robert renovate three of our immediate families’ homes over the past two years and all three families have been highly satisfied with the results.
On our addition project, Robert called in several experts to handle elements such as design/planning expertise, masonry, specialized insulation, roofing, aluminium trim and stucco. While Robert has a remarkable number of skills at a very high level, he will not undertake work that he can’t carry out to his very high standards. Every one of the tradespeople that he employed on our project were without exception, just like him; nothing but the highest level of workmanship. Rob’s rolodex of craftsmen is a very valuable resource.
While living in a home under major renovation is difficult, Robert stuck with the project to complete it as quickly as possible. He maintains an orderly work site and has a number of thorough “cleanups” each day. While the ten week exercise was intense, we are amazed with the finished new rooms. Top quality work for a reasonable price.
